Coming to Arkansas ended up being the best decision that I made in my life to date. I got world class training, an essentially free education and have met life long friends along the way all because of one decision. However, if you’re here then you too are interested in track or the concept of running as fast as your body will let you. This is one thing that I have been all about in my athletic career and why I decided to study Kinesiology in college. How does one train themselves or others to run faster and faster without breaking down and getting hurt?
From my time in Arkansas, I’ve started to develop my own answer/philosophy to this question based on my experience. I’ve had world class coaching in college and in my professional career currently. I’ll give you a little bit about my track career over the passed 5 years at Arkansas.
- My high school PRs were 10.41 in the 100 meters and 21.14 in the 200 meters. By the end of my college career, I lowered those to 10.07 and 20.35, respectively.
- My freshmen year I was on the NCAA National Championship 4x100m relay. We ran a time that is currently the school record and was the Hayward Field record.
- My sophomore year was my breakout year as I ran my PRs at indoor and outdoor nationals that year and made it to the semi-finals in both events at the Olympic Trials (100m & 200m).
- I’ve made it to the USATF National Championships the passed 4 years and made it to the finals in the 200m in 2017 and 2018.
- After my senior year, I signed with an agent and became a professional sprinter.
- In the passed year I have been a volunteer assistant coach working with the men’s team sprinters.
I have had a wealth of experience and wisdom at my disposal from my fellow teammates and coaches. I am ready to begin coaching athletes who want to improve their speed, acceleration and biomechanics with the same principles and techniques that I was coached with. I believe this makes the training program that I have to offer truly elite and unique.
Please contact me at the bottom of the home page and will get back to you shortly so we can begin planning our work together. I can be very flexible to your schedule.
I look forward to helping you achieve whatever athletic goal you have or reason for improving your speed (I.e. athletic scholarship opportunities, improvement in your sport, making varsity team, etc.)
